Foundations of Spiritual Care & Compassionate Support introduces learners to the growing field of spiritual and emotional care. Designed for both Muslim and non-Muslim learners, the course explores how compassion, active listening, ethical practice, and human connection can help individuals navigate illness, grief, crisis, uncertainty, and major life transitions.
Students will learn practical support skills used in hospitals, schools, universities, community organizations, correctional settings, and nonprofit environments. While the course draws upon values such as compassion, dignity, service, and empathy, it is designed to be inclusive and applicable across diverse cultural and faith backgrounds.
