Hadith and Science Connection

Hadith and Science Connection introduces learners to the relationship between Prophetic teachings, knowledge, ethics, and the development of Muslim intellectual traditions. Rather than focusing on technical Hadith authentication or advanced religious scholarship, this course explores how Hadith literature has influenced Muslim thinking about health, cleanliness, environment, education, social responsibility, and moral conduct. The course is designed for a broad audience, including Muslims and non-Muslims, who want to understand how Islamic teachings encouraged reflection, observation, learning, and ethical responsibility. Students will examine selected themes from Prophetic wisdom and connect them to broader conversations about science, society, wellbeing, and human flourishing. This course provides an accessible introduction to how religious knowledge and practical life can intersect in meaningful ways without requiring prior Islamic studies training.
